Our Story
Miah and I have known each other for many years now. Our mothers are both midwives and colleagues, and when we were younger, our paths crossed every so often. His older sister Hannah babysat my siblings and I. Miah, a couple years older than I, took us skiing the winter my Mom hurt her back. We swam together with our families at the river in Steep Falls.
In June, 2005, just hours after i graduated from high school, we were reintroduced to one another, and soon we became inseparable. It was not uncommon for us to spend every day together.
On September 27, 2006, Miah asked me offically to marry him. We had talked about marriage and the future frequently, so it was not a surprise when he gave me the ring he had chosen. But it was wonderful just the same. Now we are busy planning and preparing, both for the wedding and for a wonderful future together.
